The Yang-Guin Empire

The Land of the Elves Elves make up the minority in this land. Most of the people here are human peasants, but the ruling elite are Elves, and have been for as long as time can recall. Dynasty after dynasty of Elves have held the Empire with a strong gripe. They are strangely lawful and bureaucratic, but perhaps even more haughty than average. They fill the peasant farmers with lies, telling them Elves are demi-gods in their own right, that the Emperor is the god of the sun. As such, these Elves are usually called Sun Elves. To the poor human peasant credit, the average Sun Elf is much stronger than any other Elf, and lives by some accounts three times as long, though this number is probably fictional, with the truth being closer to twice the normal age. At any rate, The peasant beneath them toil their on their land and fight in their armies.

War of Tea The people of Yang-Guin trade in many things: silk, silver, art, magic artifacts, but tea is perhaps the most most sought after item. The Sun Emperor knew this, and placed high trade taxes on it to maximise profit. They also feared these Albic trades informing their people they are in fact not gods, so further restrictions were placed on trade. Turns out Albic really liked the tea, and wanted more. They have started a bloody war to free up the harbor of the Yang-Guin and acquire more tea.
